Florentino prepares Ancelotti's talisman's departure, Arbeloa doesn't count on him

He doesn't have a spot in Castilla and he is very close to signing with a new team

With Ancelotti's departure, some players have seen their situation change at Real Madrid. Arda Güler or Gonzalo saw it as a positive, since Xabi Alonso is going to bet on young talents. However, others like Rodrygo have gone from being untouchable to being expendable.

Another one who is also going to have a complicated short-term future is Ancelotti's talisman. This is Jeremy de León, who is very close to finalizing his move to Hércules on loan. The Puerto Rican striker will remain until the end of the season if the agreement is closed.

At 21 years old, Arbeloa doesn't count on him and believes that the best thing is for him to get minutes with another team. Last season, injuries kept him sidelined for many months. However, they saw a move with optimism, even considering the Second Division.

Especially because of Málaga's interest, which seemed like it was going to be his destination but everything has gone wrong. The striker now seems to be getting closer to Hércules, so he would remain in Primera RFEF. However, they hope that he will get more minutes than he would have if he stayed with Castilla.

Ancelotti's talisman in the 2024 Champions League

Jeremy de León's fame arrived during the 2024 Champions League that they ended up winning. His presence in Real Madrid's traveling squads every time they played away was surprising. Especially because he didn't have a registration and therefore couldn't be used.

At least not in the match, but Ancelotti himself confessed the reason for his presence. He took him "to be able to train with 20 footballers", something that worked for them. As the rounds went by, there was speculation about the good luck he brought them.

In fact, Ceballos himself echoed this in a story he posted on his Instagram profile. It was before the Wembley final, sharing a photo of the young man sleeping on the plane. He accompanied it with a message: "The Jeremy de León amulet has been executed."
