Florentino Rules out Transfer: Madrid's Chosen Player is Another and Will Play in the Premier League

The white club is out of the operation for Samuele Rocci and his destination will be between Liverpool and Manchester

Real Madrid has decided to take a step back in the race for Samuele Ricci, the Italian midfielder from Torino. Despite being seen by Carlo Ancelotti as a possible replacement for Toni Kroos, the club was not entirely convinced by his profile.

Now, everything points to Liverpool and Manchester City fighting for his transfer in the January market. Without ruling out that it will last until the summer of 2025.

Ricci, off Real Madrid's radar

The Italian midfielder had been followed by Real Madrid's talent scouts in recent months. Ancelotti valued his technical ability and his vision of the game, but the board, headed by Florentino Pérez, didn't share the same enthusiasm.

The club has finally ruled out the deal, leaving the Premier League giants free to fight for his transfer.

In England, both Liverpool and Manchester City have shown strong interest in Ricci. Both clubs are looking to strengthen their midfield and believe that the Torino player fits perfectly into their schemes.

The transfer could be finalised in January, with a bid of around 30-40 million euros. Ricci is ready to make the leap to an elite team.

Real Madrid, after another objective

Florentino Pérez and his team are already working on other alternatives to strengthen the midfield. The priority remains finding a replacement for Kroos, but with a more proven profile.

The club could opt to sign in the summer, when the market offers more quality options.

Replacing a player of Toni Kroos' caliber is no easy task. His influence on Real Madrid's game has been enormous for years, and the club wants to make sure they make the right decision.

For now, Samuele Ricci will not be part of that plan. Instead, the Italian player seems to have his destiny in the Premier League, where the duel between Liverpool and City promises to be intense.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, is still looking for its next great midfielder. The bet will be on a profile that combines talent, experience and adaptation to the demands of the club.
