Florentino's Request: The Signing He Has in His Sights and Close for Madrid

In the 16 years of his second term, Florentino Pérez has led Real Madrid to glory. By forming two successful generations throughout these seasons, the president has always managed to assemble great squads.  However, looking ahead to the next season, the club could face one of the greatest challenges in its history.

Luka Modric, an absolute legend of Real Madrid, could be playing his final seasons with the team.  This has led Florentino Pérez to request the transfer of the next Modric to the scouting department. An almost impossible challenge that, nevertheless, they will have to overcome to fulfill the president's request.

Even though the club knows that Modric is irreplaceable, they have begun the search for players with a similar profile. This transfer, looking ahead to the upcoming markets, has positioned itself as one of the top priorities the team will have.

Florentino Pérez's Challenge

Over the years, Real Madrid has always had the ability to find great talents.  Fulfilling all of Florentino Pérez's requests, the club has assembled the best squad in the world. However, after the retirement or departure of its legends, the team has had difficulties finding their replacements.

While the club has been successful in most cases, the situation with Modric is different due to the Croatian's quality.  After 13 seasons with Real Madrid, Modric has etched his name in the club's history due to his great feats.

Throughout all these seasons, there hasn't been a player who can come close to the qualities and skill of the Croatian wizard. Even so, to fulfill Florentino's request, Real Madrid is searching for players with very similar characteristics.
