Fran García, One Step Away from Leaving Real Madrid for Another LaLiga Club

Fran García, one step away from leaving Real Madrid for another LaLiga club

The defeat at San Mamés left several Real Madrid players singled out. Fran García was one of them after giving one of the worst performances in his entire sporting career . The Spanish full-back, due to this, could be close to leaving the Merengue team.

With the arrival of Alphonso Davies and the possible return of Miguel Gutiérrez, Fran's permanence is at risk . Rayo Vallecano, the team that hosted him in the past, has shown interest in having the player back. Although his value is not something that the club can afford, his departure could take place through a loan next summer .

Fran's Departure

Returning to Real Madrid in 2023, Fran had lived up to expectations. His loan and subsequent move to Rayo Vallecano provided him with important experience . While the left-back position was dominated by Mendy last season, the Spaniard shone at every opportunity he got.

However, his form this season has left much to be desired. With a defense hampered by injuries, Real Madrid haven't seen Fran as the full-back they need. His contract until 2027 has been presented as a problem for his departure, which is why Rayo Vallecano have shown interest in a loan .

Having stood out in a big way during his time at the club, Fran could reconnect with his best version if he returns. The 761 minutes he has played this season are a perfect reflection of the situation he is currently in .

A movement to be determined

Although Fran García is close to being allowed to leave, the reality is that he still has a slim chance of staying. The only thing the player needs to do is return to his best form and earn a place as a starter at Real Madrid .

A difficult task that would test the quality and strength of the 25-year-old full-back . Even so, his departure next summer is on track given the quality of the reinforcements that will arrive.
