Gareth Bale sends a clear message to Vinícius and Mbappé: 'If they don't commit...'

Hours keep passing since Real Madrid lost to PSG in the Club World Cup. The feelings had been good during the tournament, but not in the semifinals.  The 4-0 result left very negative impressions, especially because it meant seeing Mbappé and Vinicius together again.

Both started, along with Gonzalo, and were singled out for their attitude on the field. The Frenchman and the Brazilian didn't help with the pressing or defensive tracking, which was noticeable. Once again, the team was split and the same problems from the entire year repeated themselves.

Someone who knows Real Madrid very well, Gareth Bale, wanted to send a message about it. He was asked whether Xabi Alonso will manage to make stars like Mbappé and Vinicius work together. The Welshman made it clear that they have to commit for everything to work.

Regarding whether Xabi Alonso will achieve it, he believes that "if we look at what he did with Leverkusen, the answer is yes. Now he has better players and perhaps a bigger budget for signings." Words that should excite Madridists, hoping the team will perform.

"I think Xabi has earned the players' respect, and they'll fight for him," he continued. Before sending a direct message to Vini and Kylian: "I expect major changes and a clear playing style. If someone doesn't commit, Xabi won't hesitate to leave them out."

Many criticisms have pointed directly at the two forwards of Real Madrid

It was one of the most repeated criticisms during the season, the defensive attitude of the players. The team was split, there was no commitment from everyone, and they ended up paying for it with the results. Many believe that success depends on everyone committing.

We'll see what happens, since Xabi Alonso has to make sure everyone helps out in defense. If Mbappé and Vinicius make sacrifices, we could see a Madrid that's almost unbeatable. If they don't, we could end up repeating the same problems from recent months.
