Gavi Explodes After Atlético - Real Madrid Controversy and Warns: 'Not Me...'

The Controversial Words With Which Gavi Has Spoken Out After Real Madrid's Latest Match

The complaints and grievances about the penalty shootout in the last Madrid classic continue. Although this situation had been addressed by Atlético de Madrid, Gavi has spoken out about it. Recently, during an interview, the Barcelona player made some remarks against Real Madrid.

"I don't think so; if it touches twice, I would repeat the penalty," were his words. Unable to accept that Julián's penalty was rightly annulled, Gavi has given his poor point of view. Instead of being support for Atlético, it has only been an excuse for the Barcelona player to attack Real Madrid.

Like all the merengue fans, Gavi has been ridiculed before the world after his controversial statements.  Seeking to change the rules regarding the double touch of the ball during a shootout, the player highlighted what he has learned from Barcelona.

A Completely Senseless Opinion

All the controversy that occurred in the last classic concerns, as it should, Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid. Being the two clubs that played the match, all the issues should be dealt with by them alone. However, this is not what a Gavi, who gave a senseless and completely unnecessary opinion, believed.

Showing all his anti-Madridism, the Barcelona player took the opportunity to further fuel the controversy of this match. The rule he proposed has only been a clear way for him to seek to harm Real Madrid in the future.

His opinion only reflects his lack of understanding of this sport in addition to his little ability to understand the rules. During the same interview, Gavi made it clear that he doesn't fully understand the arbitration regulations that he curiously seeks to change.

Real Madrid's Fair Victory

Despite all the opinions and comments on the matter, Real Madrid's victory is an irrefutable fact. Once again showing their superiority against Atlético de Madrid, the criticisms of their advance to the Champions League quarter-finals are the least of it.
