Gonzalo Miró Gets 'annoyed' With Brahim on Cope After the Incident With Simeone
Gonzalo Miró and his message to Brahim Díaz regarding what happened in the Madrid classic of the Champions League
Gonzalo Miró intervened at the end of the Real Madrid - Atlético de Madrid match this Tuesday on 'Tiempo de Juego'. Once the match ended, Movistar broadcast images showing Brahim Díaz approaching Simeone and repeatedly saying: "Talk now".
This happened after a statement by Simeone before the match, in which he asserted: "I don't think Real Madrid will try to compensate in the midfield with Brahim".
Gonzalo Miró and His 'Clash' with Brahim Díaz
"I'm very surprised by the attitude of some players. Did Simeone say he didn't think Brahim would play because he thinks Brahim is a dud and doesn't deserve to play for Madrid?", he asked.
"That's not something for anyone to get upset about. Very thin-skinned this guy. Very thin-skinned", he reiterated in his criticism of the Real Madrid forward."
Brahim Díaz scored the decisive goal in a match where he started and played almost 90 minutes. Carlo Ancelotti, to Diego Simeone's surprise, counted from the beginning on a piece that, in the end, would be crucial in the classic.
What Does Gonzalo Miró Think of the Match?
"I think Atlético has recovered very well from a start that could have meant a dark cloud for the rest of the match", commented Gonzalo Miró.
Meanwhile, he also considers that Rodrygo's goal in the fourth minute was key "due to a very specific error". Additionally, he also highlighted that "the team quickly recovered beyond the goal, showing a personality I hadn't seen in a long time".

"That is the word that defines Atlético for me. Even with the 1-1 in the second half, they came out to be superior to Real Madrid, to dominate the match... And I like that and appreciate it", he explained.
However, Gonzalo Miró acknowledged that Atlético de Madrid couldn't do more after Brahim Díaz's goal.
"There the team practically disappeared. There were no chances, no goal plays, nor did the changes revitalize the team. And it seems that there the match more or less died", he concluded.
