Álvaro Carreras's signing by Real Madrid has become much more complicated than initially expected. Despite the deal closed between the club and the player, Benfica has tried to sabotage everything. This move will prevent him from being at the Club World Cup with Los Merengues.

In fact, negotiations between both teams seemed to be moving in the right direction for the agreement.
