Güler Doesn't Hold Back and Delivers a Blow to Barça on Social Media: Brutal Attack

The Turk has uploaded a story with a photo of his bandaged hand, being an indirect comparison with the controversial blue and red bandages

Arda Güler has ignited social media with a post that many consider a clear jab at FC Barcelona. The Real Madrid player uploaded a photo of his wrist wrapped with a discreet tape and without any major apparatus.

The message is clear: there's no need to cover the entire hand to protect a minor injury or a simple discomfort.

The Controversy of the Bandaged Hands at Barça

For weeks, the bandages on the hands of several Barça players have caused a great stir on social media like “X,” TikTok, and Instagram.

Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, and other Barça footballers have appeared in matches with bandages on their hands without the club issuing any medical report.

The speculations range from supposed superstitious rituals to more serious insinuations, such as possible motives related to doping.

The comparison with Karim Benzema is inevitable. The Frenchman wore his hand bandaged for years, but in his case, the reason was clear: a fracture suffered in January 2019 against Betis.

In Barça's case, the club's silence has only fueled more theories.

A Madrid Doctor Also Fuels the Fire

The former head of Real Madrid's medical services, Niko Mihic, has been blunt. In an interview for Marca, he made several statements that have further fueled the controversy.

"If you want easier venous access, it's in the hands and wrists," he stated.

The Croatian doctor directly questioned the repeated use of bandages without public medical justification.

"I don't know what's happening, but what I want to say is that any doctor knows that, if you want easier venous access, it's in the hands and wrists," Mihic insisted.

Additionally, he criticized the secrecy of the blaugrana club. "I don't understand why they're doing it and let them deny it. Let them say 'no,' but show me what you're doing," he pointed out.

"I don't believe in trends. A player doesn't play with an apparatus that designs an injury or a deficiency unless it's to do something with it," concluded the former Madrid doctor.

Arda Güler's gesture has been interpreted as a direct response to the mystery of the Barça bandages. And he has done it, as on the field, with precision.
