His face says it all, Mastantuono's reaction after the debut, they were waiting for him
The Argentine made his debut against Osasuna and showed that he has settled in well at Madrid
After all the controversy caused, Mastantuono made his debut this past Tuesday with Real Madrid. He did so in the league opener against Osasuna at Bernabéu, during the second half. Xabi brought him onto the field despite all the noise about an improper line-up due to his presence.
He didn't have much time, but he did show glimpses of what he can bring to the team with a lot of mobility. Starting from the right wing, he moved toward the center and even linked up with his teammates. He was close to turning a pass from Gonzalo, which ended up wide, into a goal.

At the end of the match, Real Madrid TV cameras captured the moment he arrived at the tunnel to the locker rooms. There, Endrick and Bellingham were waiting for him, both absent due to injury. They congratulated him, and Mastantuono's face shows how he experienced his debut with the Merengue side.
With a smile, a look of happiness, he was seen enjoying an unforgettable night for him. When he went to warm up on the sideline, he already received a great ovation from the crowd. When he was about to step onto the field, that's when the stands began to chant his name.
Xabi Alonso is clear that he will bet on Franco Mastantuono
Since he is underage, Mastantuono had to wait until August 14 to be officially presented. That meant he barely had training sessions with the rest of his teammates. However, he had been working out in Valdebebas since the 4th.

That was enough for Xabi Alonso to decide to give him his debut against Osasuna. At the end of the match, the man from Tolosa was asked about it, and whether he liked what he saw. "He looks promising, I already saw that he could contribute, he had good minutes," he replied.
"He hasn't been able to train with us, but he has been preparing," he continued analyzing. He also admitted that "we were very eager, and sometimes emotions carry more weight than what has been worked on". It seems Mastantuono has made a great first impression at Real Madrid.
