Historic embarrassment for Cristóbal Soria on social media, he attacks Mbappé and it costs him dearly

The panelist decided to upload a video laughing at Real Madrid's forward after PSG's victory in the Champions League final

Cristóbal Soria has once again become the main character. This time, for a reason that has cost him dearly. The controversial talk show guest and former Sevilla delegate has made a fool of himself on social media after mocking Kylian Mbappé, now a Real Madrid player.

Everything started after PSG's victory in the Champions League final, where the Parisians crushed Inter Milan 5-0. It was a historic night for the French club... the perfect excuse for Soria.

The tweet that set social media ablaze

Soria posted a mocking message on his X account (formerly Twitter):

"To think that Mbappé left his PSG to come to Real Madrid to win titles... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying of laughter...!!!"

A tweet that was meant to be funny, but backfired. Badly. The responses came quickly, and hundreds of users criticized his comment.

Real Madrid and football fans in general erupted. They reminded Soria that Mbappé has only spent one season as a Madridist and has scored 43 goals in 56 matches, a record for a signing in his first campaign.

In addition, many users described the comment as "unnecessary," "ridiculous," and even "obsessive." Some even reminded him of old tweets where he also mocked other players who ended up succeeding.

PSG win, but without him

It's true that PSG lifted their first Champions League trophy right after Mbappé's departure. Using that to attack a player who has only spent one season at a new club has been seen as cheap opportunism.

Soria's tweet keeps accumulating replies, memes, and mockery. Even other journalists and talk show guests have questioned his tone. Many believe he has crossed a line.

What seemed like a funny mockery has turned against him. Soria's name was a negative trend for hours. His reputation on social media has once again been called into question.

Once again, social media don't forgive.
Cristóbal Soria, this time, made a fool of himself in historic fashion.
