Huijsen and another center-back: Xabi Alonso asks Florentino for an almost impossible effort

The complicated operation that Florentino Pérez could carry out following Xabi Alonso's request

Looking ahead to the next season, Real Madrid has already started making significant changes. The bench, which had been occupied for years by Ancelotti, will now have Xabi Alonso as its new coach. A change that, of course, will also bring countless movements with a squad that had several problems during the season.

One of Real Madrid's main objectives for the upcoming market is to renew the defense as soon as possible. Dean Huijsen, the young center-back from Bournemouth, was positioned as the ideal player for Real Madrid. However, Xabi Alonso requested Florentino Pérez himself to sign Jonathan Tah, a center-back who is close to leaving Bayer Leverkusen.

By not renewing his contract and being coached by Xabi, Tah would be a top-level reinforcement for Real Madrid's defense. Even so, given Bayern's strong interest and the offer they have presented, Florentino Pérez knows that this operation will not be easy.

At 29 years old and after a decade at Bayer Leverkusen, Jonathan is ready to move on to a new project. Having managed to unleash his potential thanks to Xabi Alonso, Tah is one of the best center-backs today. His aerial play, tactical intelligence, and defensive solidity are just some of the qualities that have made him stand out in this sport.

While Xabi wants to have Tah again, now for his project in Madrid, the player's future could be far from Valdebebas. With a long-term offer and an attractive salary, Bayern Munich seeks to finalize Tah's signing as soon as possible.

Additionally, Barcelona remains highly interested in competing for a center-back who would arrive completely free after the end of his contract. Although the market hasn't started yet, Florentino Pérez is already facing the first complicated operation of the campaign.

Florentino Pérez's titanic task

Having achieved even more complicated signings, Florentino Pérez can convince Tah to join Real Madrid.  However, the great complication of this operation lies in Tah himself, who, upon finishing his contract, has the freedom to choose the club for his future.
