On Tuesday morning, Dean Huijsen was introduced as a new Real Madrid player at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas. After completing the various protocol events, the Spanish footballer appeared before the media.
"All of us who belong to the club welcome you. We wish you the best. You're now part of the great Madridist family", Emilio Butragueño said first.
"I think this is the best day of my life, it's a dream to be here and I'm going to give everything for the team. For me, Madrid is the best club in the world and there's no other team like it", Dean Huijsen replied in his first answer.

Additionally, Dean Huijsen revealed that he has been able to speak with Xabi Alonso in the last few hours. "Yes, a little, about what he expects from me and I think these are going to be great years. I fit very well in Xabi's soccer, I'm going to try to help the team in every way I can", he said.
