Inda 'closes' the 'Rodrygo case, the Brazilian has an official asking price

The Brazilian's future remains uncertain, and a transfer fee has already been set for him

Real Madrid solved its league debut against Osasuna with a hard-fought 1-0 victory. The match was marked by the lack of preparation from the Madridists, who barely had a preseason. However, it served to draw the first conclusions of the season with some players singled out.

This is the case for Rodrygo, who, as happened to him in some matches at the Club World Cup, was left without playing. It's true that he was warming up on the sideline, but he saw Xabi choose others before him. In the end, it meant he didn't get a single minute in the first match of the season.

This has once again reactivated the possibility of his departure in the final stretch of the transfer window, with City seen as the best option. According to Ok Diario, the newspaper of Eduardo Inda, Real Madrid would have already set a price for Rodrygo. It has "settled" the "Rodrygo Case" at 80 million euros (€80 million), and from there, they would sit down to negotiate.

The figure has fluctuated throughout the summer depending on the sources consulted. Some indicated that they wouldn't accept less than 100 million (€100 million), while others even mentioned 60 (€60 million). They can't agree even though there are only a few days left before the window closes.

Rodrygo's position is essential

Despite everything that's been said, Real Madrid keeps leaving the decision in Rodrygo's own hands. They want him to stay, but they're going to respect whatever the Brazilian chooses for his future. That's what they've conveyed since the summer began and the rumors started around him.

In fact, according to Defensa Central, Rodrygo hasn't conveyed any intention to leave. On the contrary, he wants to stay and feels confident about fighting for a spot. He's motivated to work at Valdebebas and prove to Xabi Alonso that he has a place.

There have been several conversations he's had with the Basque since his arrival. He wanted to know the level of commitment the former Santos player had to the Madridist project. He has found that he's a piece that's counted on for the season.
