It's over: Brahim Díaz confirms his decision and is going to sign in the coming days

Real Madrid keeps working in the offices before the start of the season. In recent hours, the Madrid club reached an agreement with Thibaut Courtois to finalize his contract renewal until 2027. Additionally, according to Fabrizio Romano, the club also intends to secure Brahim Díaz's contract extension.

"After Thibaut Courtois, Brahim Díaz will also sign a new contract with Real Madrid. Both agreements are finalized and ready to be formally sealed", commented the well-known Italian journalist. 

Additionally, Fabrizio Romano also stated that Real Madrid will begin working on Raúl Asencio's contract renewal soon. "The next will be Raúl Asencio, until June 2031", he concluded.

Brahim Díaz will renew with Real Madrid

Real Madrid keeps counting on Brahim Díaz and Brahim Díaz wants to stay at Real Madrid. The Moroccan international has set the goal of continuing to succeed at the club over the coming years. Although he hasn't had many minutes under Xabi Alonso at the Club World Cup, the forward hopes to turn the situation around soon.

During Carlo Ancelotti's tenure, Brahim Díaz was always a player who enjoyed minutes, but he was never the Italian's first option. He was always present when the starters were out due to injury or suspension, but he started from the bench when everyone was available. 

For now, Brahim Díaz hasn't had many appearances under a Xabi Alonso who keeps insisting that everyone must defend. "We all have to defend. We need it", commented the Real Madrid coach.
