James Rodríguez Hasn't Forgotten Real Madrid and Reveals What Annoyed Him the Most
The Colombian will face his former team this Saturday defending the colors of Rayo
Real Madrid has no time to rest and, four days after playing in the Champions League, they will also do so in the League. The Meringue team will visit Vallecas this Saturday to face Rayo Vallecano at 9 p.m.
The game seems crucial for Madrid in the fight for the domestic championship. Carlo Ancelotti's men are currently two points behind Barcelona, leader of the League.
'It's another demanding game against a rival that has always been difficult for us in recent years. They play well, intensely, at home...', said Ancelotti at this morning's press conference. 'We are confident of having a good game. The team has recovered well', concluded the Italian coach.

The truth is that Rayo already 'stole' four points from Madrid last season. The team from Vallecas managed to scrape a point both in their visit to Santiago Bernabéu (0-0) and also in front of their fans (1-1).
The team managed by Íñigo Pérez is in twelfth place in the table. It has 19 points, six points more than Espanyol, who are close to relegation to the Second Division.
For Madrid, Saturday's game will also be a very special one, as they face James Rodriguez. The Colombian signed for Rayo in a surprising way this summer after his experience in Brazil.
Great memories
James has been interviewed by the newspaper 'Marca' to analyze the match against Madrid. When asked about his former team, he was full of praise.
'It's always nice to play against Real Madrid. A club where I was happy and I could show everything I could do. That match is always special. I already had the opportunity to play against them with Bayern in the Champions League and it was a special match,' said the Cúcuta native.

'When I came to Madrid, people remembered me fondly. That means I did things well and I have a lot of affection for the Madrid fans. They made me feel at home. I was able to win titles and I think I performed very well. I put in some extraordinary numbers,' said James.
'Maybe I could have stayed a year or two more and my numbers could have been a little higher. But at that time, due to circumstances, they didn't let me stay and that happened. But I think I could have stayed two or three more years there,' said the former Madrid '10'.
