Josep Pedrerol Insists on Vinícius's Departure, the Price Real Madrid Will Demand
The veteran journalist has no doubts about the soap opera starring the Brazilian footballer
Real Madrid has important negotiations ahead for the renewal of Vinícius Jr. The Brazilian forward is in the spotlight of clubs like PSG and several teams from the Saudi Pro League, a circumstance that would imply the arrival of an offer. That possible departure would take place next summer, something the executives led by Florentino Pérez are not willing to accept.
Not only because Vinícius has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2027, but because by then they hope to counter all those rumors with the official announcement of his renewal. Until they achieve the signature of the "verdeamarelo" player, the white leadership has already anticipated the only way to effectively solve the saga.

Josep Pedrerol, presenter and director of "El Chiringuito de Jugones," has been very clear about it. According to the information possessed by the veteran Catalan journalist, "Madrid doesn't negotiate for Vinícius." Far from being intimidated by the multimillion-dollar offers that could come from Saudi Arabia, Real Madrid's board of directors offers as the only escape the payment of his release clause.
Those 1 billion euros listed in his current contract, which ends in the summer of 2027, are the most important exit barrier his offers face. Meanwhile, as doubts continue to grow, Real Madrid is working tirelessly to reach an agreement with the player as soon as possible.
All Clear
The idea could well be to offer him about 150 million euros spread over five years of contract. Earning 30 million euros gross per season, which would be about 15 million net, Real Madrid is willing to make an unbelievable salary increase to ensure his continuity. Logically, those figures can't compete with the exorbitant salaries offered to him from the Saudi Pro League.
They don't intend to either. In the offices of Valdebebas, they are aware of their "economic limitations," especially concerning state clubs, teams supported by private fortunes, and squads from Saudi Arabia. Those "competitive giants," especially in the offices, are the great rival to beat for the sports management in the generational change process that the first team is undergoing.

Be that as it may, Real Madrid won't change its stance in the "Vinícius case." The sending of a renewal offer to the South American footballer could well arrive this very summer. If rejected, the white leadership could well initiate the process of searching for his replacement in the elite European football markets.
At the same time, future conversations with the player would be ruled out... and they would wait for his departure as a free agent in the summer of 2027 to forge the arrival of said replacement. As things stand, it is far from an ideal future, and the "merengue" bosses will do everything in their power to avoid it.
