Josep Pedrerol Reveals Florentino's Version of the Offer to Vinícius
The veteran journalist has important information about this Real Madrid saga.
Amid the competitive tension of the knockout stage against Manchester City, one of Real Madrid's concerns remains the renewal of Vinícius Jr. The comments and information about this situation have sparked all kinds of debates, especially knowing that Saudi Arabia has shown interest in acquiring his contract in the summer of 2025.
Josep Pedrerol is one of the latest to provide his information regarding the future of the verdeamarelo star. Amid reports of a rejection of an approach for his renewal, the journalist seems to indicate quite the opposite. "That Madrid hasn't made any offer to Vinícius at all," Josep Pedrerol states on the matter.

The host and director of 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' makes it clear that no moves have been made in the Valdebebas offices regarding Vinícius's renewal. The reason for this lack of approaches would be in his own contract: "if he still has two and a half years of contract left," Josep Pedrerol recalls.
Precisely this time until the summer of 2027, when the bond between the forward from São Gonçalo and Real Madrid expires, is what provides calm in the white hierarchy. Thus, all the rumors and declarations of intent sent from Saudi Arabia, according to Josep Pedrerol, would not have prompted any renewal offer toward the Carioca forward.
Soap Opera in Progress
At least for now. Everything points to Real Madrid sponsoring the continuity of one of its top stars as soon as possible, especially considering the future possibilities of the sports project. The combination of great footballers in Santiago Bernabéu locker room opens up new competitive horizons.
This pursuit of more titles would now be one of Vinícius Jr.'s main focuses. Real Madrid's '7', after finishing second in the Ballon d'Or, promised to do it "ten times better", a challenge that has not yet been fully realized. But the arrival of the Champions League knockout stages could open a very different space.

The top continental competition is where the white hierarchy truly values the performance of footballers, both their own and others. Although Vinícius holds a prime position in Madrid's sports planning, a great performance in the Champions League would provide more reasons to see his contract renewed beyond 2027.
In any case, Real Madrid still wouldn't have attempted an approach in this regard according to Josep Pedrerol's information. The tension surrounding Vinícius's future, in the absence of an official renewal announcement, will increase until the arrival of this summer... when transfer attempts sent by several Saudi Arabian clubs could arrive.
