Jota Jordi doesn't hold back: new attack on Real Madrid despite the refereeing scandal

The well-known Barça panelist once again showed his anti-Madridism on social media

Once again, Real Madrid found itself embroiled in a new refereeing controversy that has reignited suspicions of persecution against the club. Last Saturday's match against RCD Mallorca, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the Whites, was marked by the disallowance of three goals. After that, the outrage at Bernabéu grew rapidly and chants about Negreira could be heard.

During the match at Santiago Bernabéu, VAR intervened to rule out two goals by Kylian Mbappé and one by Arda Güler, for offside or an alleged handball. The first, a shot by Mbappé in the 7th minute after a pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold, was disallowed by a millimetric margin, while another goal by the Frenchman was ruled out just before halftime. Meanwhile, Güler's goal in the second half was also disallowed.

These decisions, reviewed by referee Sánchez Martínez and VAR, sparked protests in the stands and criticism from Xabi Alonso. In fact, the Madrid coach had to approach the referee after the match had ended to ask for explanations.

A fact that shows the harsh reality for Real Madrid

After the match, several media outlets revealed a telling statistic. Since the implementation of VAR in the 2018/19 season, Real Madrid has seen 37 goals disallowed, almost three times the 14 of Barcelona. This disparity has fueled the perception of unequal treatment for the two teams.

If you also add the disgraceful spectacle that took place on Sunday night at Vallecas with the "penalty" on Lamine... Just turn off the lights and let's go!

Jota Jordi keeps attacking Real Madrid

Meanwhile, Jota Jordi seems to keep doing his own thing and sees soccer in a completely different reality. The Barça panelist, after Real Madrid's match, brought up the aforementioned statistic to attack the Whites.

"Do you know which team has had the most goals disallowed by VAR? 1st- Madrid: 37 goals. The second with 20 goals. Barça 14 goals", commented Jota Jordi.

"For Madrid fans, it's a reason to cry. For the rest of the world, it proves that for a century they've won trophies with illegal goals and now they cry if they can't keep doing it", added Jota Jordi.
