Jota Jordi Sends an Unexpected Message to Real Madrid About Carles Miñarro: 'We Have to...'

The passing of FC Barcelona's doctor has prompted an immediate response from Real Madrid.

The tragedy has struck one of the most followed clubs in our country. Everything seemed to be going well in the pre-match of FC Barcelona-Osasuna, but the match ultimately could not be played due to an issue that affected all the first team players of the culé team. The information became known just minutes after the postponement of that match to be played at Montjuïc: a first team doctor had unexpectedly passed away in his hotel room.

The suspension of the match now opens a debate about the moment when this important match for the fight for the leadership of LaLiga 24/25 will be played. But Jota Jordi, far from focusing on that controversy, wanted to leave a striking message for Real Madrid after what happened with Dr. Carles Miñarro. The panelist was very clear and caused a 'quake' on social media.

Because Real Madrid was one of the first clubs to react to the tragedy that befell FC Barcelona before their match against Osasuna on Saturday. Thus, the entity presided over by Florentino Pérez did not hesitate to publish an official statement publicly lamenting the death of Carles Miñarro, sending encouragement and support to his closest family members. They also remembered his colleagues at FC Barcelona, among whom are the players coached by Hansi Flick.

This gesture has moved many, including Jota Jordi. The culé commentator, always very caustic with everything related to the white club, made it clear that "one thing doesn't take away from the other: kudos Real Madrid. Thank you both for Butragueño's presence and for Ancelotti's words yesterday, so truly kudos Real Madrid for how they have behaved", Jota Jordi concluded.

Recognition

Because the official statement was not the only gesture that Real Madrid had regarding their 'eternal rival' in such a delicate situation as this. Carlo Ancelotti, right after the hard-fought victory against Rayo, began his press conference at Santiago Bernabéu by remembering the two people who had unexpectedly passed away that week. One of them was Carles Miñarro himself.

The other gesture that Jota Jordi appreciated is the presence of Emilio Butragueño at the wake of the FC Barcelona doctor. The Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid was present at this challenging moment for the family and closest people to the doctor on behalf of the entity presided over by Florentino Pérez.

No other club in our country has had that deference toward FC Barcelona. Once again, it is demonstrated that Real Madrid is forged differently and has a special character. The famous gentlemanliness, which many downplay, is one of the great qualities of the white club and is demonstrated in tough moments like next weekend.

The death of Dr. Carles Miñarro has shaken all of Spanish soccer but Real Madrid has been up to the task at all times. The merengue squad has been much more involved than it seemed, always avoiding easy applause because it's not about that. It's about joining those who need it most in their worst moment, even if it's the 'eternal rival'.
