One of the big surprises of the past summer market was Saudi Arabia's offer for Vinícius Júnior. The attacker, in case he had accepted, would have become the highest-paid athlete in the world. However, his love and commitment to Real Madrid led him to reject this offer and stay with the Meringue team.

Having a great relationship with the club, this was affected after the Spanish Supercopa final. Leaving the field in the 76th minute after being substituted by Ancelotti, Vinícius appeared puzzled by this decision. Unable to understand the reason for his change, a clear annoyance from the Brazilian could be observed.

This has caused friction to begin between the star attacker's entourage and Real Madrid. With Saudi Arabia still maintaining interest in the player, Vinícius's future has once again been put into question.

An uncertain future

Joining Real Madrid in 2018, Vinícius has worked hard to become the player he is today. Considered one of the best in the world, the 24-year-old Brazilian is a consolidated star. The 13 goals and 10 assists he has achieved this season are a testament to the importance and influence Vinícius has on the team.

Even so, this importance was questioned after leaving the field during the match against Barcelona. With the culés suffering an expulsion and still having several minutes ahead, the Brazilian was upset with Ancelotti's decision.

Although, for now, the Brazilian hasn't expressed any annoyance about his change, his attitude has caused thousands of doubts. With a contract until 2027, a possible renewal of the forward may be paused after this particular incident. 

The growing Saudi interest

Even though Madrid trusts that Vinícius will remain their player, the club must start working on his future as soon as possible. Aware of the Brazilian's importance, the team can't afford the departure of their star to Saudi Arabia.
