Mbappé and Endrick Don't Change Anything, Madrid Doesn't Appear on the Talked List

Despite the latest transfers, Real Madrid isn't among the teams that spent the most money in the summer

Kylian Mbappé and Endrick were the two transfers made by Real Madrid in the past summer transfer window to face a new season. The French forward, desired by Florentino Pérez and a large part of Madrid, signed after several years of attempts.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian striker, who already had his arrival agreed with the club, landed at Bernabéu after reaching legal age.

However, although the white team strengthened in several positions, it was not one of those that spent the most in the market. FIFA, which has released the analysis of the 2024 market in the GlobalTransfer Report, doesn't include Real Madrid in the list.

Which teams are on the mentioned list?

The transfers of Julián Álvarez to Atlético de Madrid, Gonçalo Ramos to PSG, Leny Yoro to United, Neves to PSG, and Dani Olmo to FC Barcelona were the most expensive.

PSG, United, Olympique de Lyon, Bayern, Brighton, Atlético, Chelsea, Nápoles, Barcelona, and Juventus were the ten teams that spent the most money. Additionally, Real Madrid doesn't appear in the list of 20 clubs.

The number of clubs that invested in signings continued to increase, reaching a record figure of 1,100 entities. Similarly, the number of clubs that earned money by transferring at least one player, 1,378, was also higher than ever.

Real Madrid, a team that doesn't spend like the other big ones

As can be seen in the list, several of the clubs that appear are those that compete for the Champions League. The perfect example is Paris Saint-Germain, Atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona, or Bayern Munich.

Additionally, it should be noted that Manchester City barely spent due to the threat of sanctions it had at the time. However, as soon as they saw there was no danger, Guardiola has once again requested reinforcements. And they have spent more than 100 'kilos' in January.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to manage its economy excellently and competes perfectly without having to spend excessive amounts. We will have to be alert next summer, although one of the almost closed signings (Alexander-Arnold) will also arrive as a free agent.
