Míchel Points to the 2 Real Madrid Stars Who Have Made Kroos Forgotten

The Girona CF coach praised Real Madrid in the press conference after the match.

Míchel Sánchez, Girona CF's coach, expressed his regret over Sunday's defeat against Real Madrid (2-0). The coach highlighted that his rival "is in a very good version" and is "difficult to counteract". Despite the defeat, the Girona coach assured that he can't "reproach the team for anything" for their effort and attitude during the match.

"Real Madrid is at a moment where they know every point is very important. Coming here under these circumstances is very difficult. We had to be very sharp in our area and hope they didn't have their day", commented Míchel Sánchez initially.

Míchel Sánchez's Praise for Real Madrid

"We had chances in the first half and could have had two or three good opportunities, but you have to be accurate. Today, the team can't be reproached for anything. Real Madrid is in a very good version and difficult to counteract", he explained.

"We played the match well. Modric's goal from his home gave them the calm to go into halftime in an advantageous situation. They manage playing with the lead very well", he stated.

"We lack continuity in the process of being a team that doesn't play in risky situations. That's what we've asked of them and we're working on it. I'm not worried about the result, we knew it was very difficult and Real Madrid was superior", commented the Girona CF coach.

"I always see Madrid well because they have a great team. Kroos was an irreplaceable player in many things, but they found Ceballos, Mbappé has come... They are players who make a difference", he stated.
