Mijatovic asks Florentino for one more signing after Huijsen, Trent, and Mastantuono
The player Real Madrid needs for next season has been revealed by Predrag Mijatovic
Xabi Alonso has managed to bring joy back to all Madridists with his innovative tactics at Real Madrid. By using three center-backs, Xabi has enhanced players like Huijsen and Arnold. However, for Predrag Mijatovic this isn't enough: "The midfield lacks a bit more creativity, a little more soccer."
"...They need to find a player who has something different from Modric or Kroos," were Mijatovic's words. With this, the former Real Madrid player has disagreed with some of the club's fans. Instead of asking for a profile similar to the two Real Madrid legends, Mijatovic considers it ideal to have a midfielder who brings something new.
Despite the great form of Jude Bellingham, Arda Güler, and Fede Valverde, Mijatovic isn't convinced. Stating that Real Madrid became dependent on Modric and Kroos, the future of the midfield is in Xabi Alonso's hands.

The summer objective
For many years, the midfield kept being one of Real Madrid's best positions. For a decade, players like Kroos, Modric, and Casemiro were responsible for bringing joy to the club and its fans. By controlling all opponents, providing key assists, and managing the pace of matches, their absence is becoming increasingly noticeable.
Kroos's retirement last summer left a huge void that Real Madrid and Ancelotti weren't able to fill. Although they still have Modric, the Croatian is 39 years old (39 years old) and can't perform the same way as in the past.
Martín Zubimendi, for months, kept being Real Madrid's target to strengthen the midfield. Creative, with great ball control and able to organize play, his signing never materialized, as he's getting closer to signing for Arsenal.
The missing piece
Despite Mijatovic's request, the Club World Cup has featured a great version of the merengue midfield. If Real Madrid keeps succeeding in this tournament, signing a midfielder could end up being ruled out.
