Luka Modric is very close to closing a new chapter in his career. The Croatian midfielder, a Real Madrid legend, has an almost complete agreement with AC Milan.

According to Matteo Moretto, the veteran player will sign with the Italian side for a base salary of €3.5 million. That amount will be increased by various performance bonuses.

At 39 years old, Modric still has plenty of energy. However, he is no longer in Xabi Alonso's main plans. The arrival of young players like Bellingham or Camavinga has relegated his role to the rotation.
