Monumental blow from José Félix Díaz to Barça over Mastantuono: not like others

Culés are left stunned by the message the journalist has sent them

Franco Mastantuono is already in the Spanish capital even though he isn't officially a Real Madrid player yet. Until next August 14, when he turns 18, it can't happen. However, that has allowed José Félix Díaz to deliver a monumental blow to Barça.

The journalist took advantage of the situation with Mastantuono and sent a message on his Twitter profile. "Mastantuono is already in Madrid, but he won't be at Real Madrid until August 14. That's called avoiding problems, keeping rules, not like others" he wrote in his post.

A reference to the many controversial cases Barça has had in recent years. Like last season with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, who were registered thanks to a precautionary measure from CSD against LaLiga. Or with the levers that have later been proven not to be valid.

Real Madrid hasn't wanted to get into legal trouble and has preferred to wait with Mastantuono. FIFA didn't clarify if they could sign him under 18 since he has both Italian and Argentine nationality. Unlike what Barça would have done, they chose to be cautious and avoid trouble.

Mastantuono arrives making a strong impression

Even though we aren't going to see him wearing Real Madrid's jersey yet, Mastantuono arrives making a strong impression. He hasn't hesitated to even send a direct warning to Mbappé. The Argentine has made it clear that if he could, the number "10" would be his favorite to wear on the jersey.

For now, we aren't going to see if he starts challenging him in training despite his youth. Real Madrid has prepared a special plan for Mastantuono in Valdebebas. He'll be alone for a few days before joining his teammates.

He's expected to be under Xabi Alonso's orders before the league debut against Osasuna. However, it'll be very difficult to see him on the field for that match since he'll still need to adapt to the team. That will depend on the Basque coach and how he sees him in the first sessions he completes.
