Xabi Alonso already knows who his ideal striker is. It's not Budimir. It's not Vlahovic either. The Basque coach is betting on a familiar face: Patrik Schick.

For Alonso, the Czech striker is the perfect option to strengthen Real Madrid's attack. Not only because of his profile, but also because of the knowledge he has of him from his time at Bayer Leverkusen.

A "9" like Joselu, but with more European experience

Schick is very similar to Joselu in terms of style. He's a tall striker, strong in the air, and very effective inside the box.

Real Madrid could get Schick for about 40 million euros. That's a reasonable figure in the current market, especially compared to other names.

Vlahovic, for example, would cost more than 70 million. Budimir is cheaper, but he doesn't have the same international track record and doesn't fit as well with the profile Alonso is looking for.
