Neither Luis Díaz nor Darwin Núñez, the player disappointed with Liverpool: 'I get it'
Liverpool has created a photo montage for all the players who have left this summer except its homegrown player
Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure from Liverpool hasn't gone unnoticed. The English right-back, a homegrown player and club symbol in recent years, experienced a very different farewell from that of other teammates who have also left Anfield this summer.
In recent weeks, Liverpool has said goodbye to figures such as Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz, and Jarell Quansah. For them, the club prepared elaborate montages with several photos, reviewing their time with the team and their most memorable moments.
In Trent's case, the farewell was much more understated. The official "Reds" account posted a single image of the player, accompanied by a brief text confirming his departure at the end of his contract. This difference did not go unnoticed by the fans.

A bittersweet farewell
Alexander-Arnold, who has worn Liverpool's jersey since the youth ranks, understood the decision. "I understand it," he commented, acknowledging that his case may have been handled more discreetly due to the emotional impact his departure causes.
Even so, for many supporters, the difference in visual and narrative treatment compared to other teammates was striking. Even more so considering he has been a key footballer in the Jürgen Klopp and Arne Slot era, and has lifted trophies such as the Champions League and Premier League.
The busy market at Anfield
Trent's departure adds to a busy summer in Liverpool. Darwin Núñez headed to Al-Hilal, Luis Díaz signed for Bayern Munich, and Quansah went to Bayer Leverkusen. All of them received graphic tributes with compilations of their best moments.
In contrast, the right-back's farewell was communicated directly, without that visual review of his career. According to sources close to the matter, this decision aimed to avoid an excessively emotional tone while the season was still ongoing.

Now, the Englishman's future is at Santiago Bernabéu. What is clear is that his name will be etched in "Red" history, even if his farewell was more discreet than others.
