Neither Saturday nor Sunday: Xabi Alonso's presentation date with Real Madrid
Monday will be the first day of the Donostian coach as Real Madrid's manager, and it will be officially announced
Real Madrid already has the date marked in red to present their new coach. Xabi Alonso will be officially presented on Monday, May 26 as the first team's coach.
It won't be Saturday or Sunday. The club has chosen to start the new era on Monday, just two days after bidding farewell to Carlo Ancelotti, Modric, and Lucas Vázquez at Santiago Bernabéu.
The presentation will be in Valdebebas
The presentation ceremony will be held at the Valdebebas Sports City, where Xabi Alonso will appear before the media and greet the fans.

The Basque coach will sign for three seasons. He arrives at the white bench after making history at Bayer Leverkusen, where he won the last Bundesliga without losing a single match.
Florentino Pérez will accompany him at the event and will be responsible for giving him the official welcome. Real Madrid's president always trusted Xabi Alonso's return, who knows the club perfectly after his time as a player and reserve team coach.
Immediate goal: the Club World Cup
The new stage begins with a great challenge in sight: the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States starting June 14.
Xabi is already working on the planning. Although he hasn't been presented yet, he has begun to make decisions and analyze the future of the squad.

One of the first changes will be the captaincy handover: Dani Carvajal will take the armband, a symbol of the start of a new generation.
Five trusted men
The new coaching staff will arrive with five assistants. The assistant coach will be Sebas Parrilla, his trusted man since his time in Germany.
Alberto Encinas will also join the group, while the physical preparation will be in the hands of Ismael Camenforte, who worked at Barça B and in the MLS before arriving at Leverkusen.
Beñat Labaien, formerly of Zaragoza, will be an assistant coach. Additionally, the club has decided to keep Antonio Pintus as a physical trainer, a key piece in recent successes.
The Xabi Alonso era is already here. Monday will be the first step of his biggest challenge.
