The new color of Real Madrid's 2026-27 jersey will be truly innovative
The surprise Real Madrid is preparing with its jersey for the 2026/2027 season
The season has barely started, but Real Madrid has already started making plans for the following ones. While the club still has some signings in mind for the future, this hasn't stopped it from working on its upcoming kits. According to what we know at Defensa Central, the kit for the 2026/2027 season will feature green and pink.
While the club has already worn these colors in the past, it has never done so in the same kit. A recent leak shows what the kit would look like, and it's quite a unique image. Keeping white as the base color, this kit will have the sponsors in a dark green color.
The collar and sleeves will also feature this particular color, while pink will be its companion. The inside of the collar and the outside of the sleeves will feature pink to further distinguish the kit. This color will also be very present in the traditional shoulder stripes that Real Madrid's kits feature.
A curious innovation
During the 2012-2013 campaign, Real Madrid surprised by using a third kit with dark green as the main color. With the other details in white, this kit had a unique and elegant touch. The design of the entire chest and abdomen area managed to stand out by featuring subtle lines that added depth.

For the 2020-2021 season, Real Madrid surprised again with another color outside the usual. This time, pink accompanied the traditional white of the team's first kit. Present all around the abdomen and on the collar, this color perfectly complemented a kit that is still remembered.
For the 2026-2027 season kit, Adidas has made the bold decision to combine both colors with white. Although this design could change since it's a leak, the colors have sparked a lot of discussion. This shows the great work Adidas does every year to find ways to keep innovating in its designs.
Awaiting an announcement
Despite the surprise of this leak, Adidas has plenty of time to work on this kit. The German brand has always managed to get the designs it creates for Real Madrid right. This clearly builds trust that, when the time comes to announce the kit, it will be well received by the public.
