It's the New Courtois and Juni Calafat Calls Florentino, It Could be the Transfer

Juni Calafat's plan to strengthen the goal in case of Lunin's departure

Last season we saw a great version of Andriy Lunin, with the goalkeeper effectively stepping in for Courtois. However, despite having a contract until 2030, his future with the team is full of doubts. In light of this, Juni Calafat has managed to find a young goalkeeper who has already been compared to Courtois.

Senne Lammens is making waves in Europe due to his outstanding performances. The young goalkeeper is one of the biggest promises in Belgian soccer, possessing the skills to shine in any team. Despite the great moment he's experiencing with his current team, the player has shown he's ready to make the leap to another club.

Because of this, Calafat has contacted Florentino Pérez to carry out his transfer in the near future. Looking to renew Real Madrid's goalkeeping, Lammens is the perfect goalkeeper to secure the future.

The solution to Lunin

At just 22 years old, Lammens has demonstrated a great level at Royal Antwerp in Belgian soccer. Accumulating 1,787 minutes this season, the young Belgian has conceded 21 goals and kept a clean sheet 5 times.

Despite having a contract until 2027, Calafat's interest in his transfer has grown significantly. With doubts about Lunin's future, Real Madrid has seen Lammens as a good goalkeeper to cover a potential departure. His transfer would help the team have a generational replacement when Courtois's time at the club comes to an end.

However, Real Madrid isn't the only one interested in the young Belgian goalkeeper for a transfer. Manchester United has emerged as the rival for the merengue team, with the English starting to scout Lammens's progress.

An upcoming dispute

After the situation with Leny Yoro, Real Madrid is determined not to lose any more transfers to Manchester United. While the operation for Lammens is complicated by the English, the merengue team is confident in succeeding with this operation.
