Neymar's tantrum with Ancelotti and Vinícius's Brazil, he wants his moment of glory
Neymar launches a provocation against Ancelotti and Vinícius with a controversial message
Neymar's career reached its peak a long time ago and is now going downhill fast. The Brazilian is far from his best level, one he'll never get back to no matter how hard he tries. Even though he's 33 years old (33 años) and could still keep performing, as Modric has shown.
But the former Barça player has long been in the news more for scandals and off-the-field issues. Once again, he's shown it with disrespect toward Ancelotti and Vinícius. The Italian coach left him out of his first squad list because he didn't see him at the right level.

That seems to have bothered him, just as much as Vinícius being the one to wear the "10" he used to have. That's why he sent a message on his social media trying to provoke his fellow countrymen. He was also seeking his moment in the spotlight during this international break where he's been forgotten.
"Have you ever imagined this 10 and this 9 together with the amarela?" he asked on X. In this comment, he mentioned Ronaldo Nazário in a direct question to the former Brazilian striker. He doesn't seem interested in taking the bait of a pointless provocation.
Vinícius with more responsibility in the national team
For some, the message has been interpreted as a provocation but others point in a different direction. They believe he's referring to what if Neymar and Ronaldo had been drafted together. If both had been at their best, they would've been a lethal duo.

Others think he's talking about the change in jersey numbers that has happened in the canarinha. Neymar is no longer the "10"; that number now belongs to Vinícius. Meanwhile, the "9" of the five-time world champions belongs to Richarlison.
It's clear that the situation is tense in the Brazilian national team despite Ancelotti's arrival. The scoreless draw against Ecuador doesn't help calm things down. In a squad where Vinícius has taken on more responsibility to get them out of this situation.
