It's official, Arnold is Real Madrid's new player: the details of his signing
The English full-back signs a five-season contract, and Real Madrid has paid five million to have him in the Club World Cup
Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold, a right-back from Liverpool. The English player has signed with the club for five seasons, until June 2030.
The deal has been closed for €5 million (5 million euros), an amount Madrid have paid to the "Reds" so the footballer can join immediately and play in the Club World Cup wearing the white jersey.
Although Alexander-Arnold's contract was set to expire this summer, on June 30, the Merengue club didn't want to wait. The sporting management have chosen to bring his arrival forward and allow him a mini-preseason before the competition.
The English right-back is one of Xabi Alonso's major bets, who is already in charge as the new Real Madrid coach. The Basque coach will be able to count from the start on an elite reinforcement for the right side of the defense.

A Liverpool legend, now at Bernabéu
Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool's youth academy at just six years old. Trained entirely at the Anfield club, he moved up step by step until making his debut with the first team and becoming one of the leading figures in English soccer.
During his time at Liverpool, he played 354 official matches, scored 23 goals, and provided 92 assists, extraordinary numbers for a player in his position. In addition, he lifted a large number of trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
Now, at 26 years old, Alexander-Arnold is starting a new chapter in his professional career. He arrives at Real Madrid in full maturity, with experience at the highest level and many years ahead.
Three reinforcements for the Club World Cup
With his arrival, Real Madrid now have three signings who will be available to Xabi Alonso in the upcoming Club World Cup. The first was Dean Huijsen, a center-back already announced by the club a few days ago. The second was Álvaro Carreras, a left-back from Benfica.

The third is now official: Trent Alexander-Arnold joins the white team.
With this deal, Madrid strengthen their squad with a vision for the future and consolidate a young, talented defense ready to compete for everything from now on.
