Official statement from Madrid on Mbappé's condition after leaving the hospital
Mbappé has already left the hospital and is at Real Madrid's hotel, although his return depends on his recovery
Kylian Mbappé has already been discharged from the hospital. Real Madrid issued a new medical report on Thursday night confirming that the French forward has left the Miami hospital and returned to the team's training camp.
The footballer will continue with the prescribed medical treatment over the coming days. Although he is already back with the group, he will not train immediately. The club explained that he will gradually rejoin the team's routine, depending on his progress.
In fact, the initial forecasts indicate that he is completely ruled out for the match this Sunday, the 22nd, against Pachuca (9:00 p.m. in Spain) and the goal is for him to make his debut in the Club World Cup against RB Salzburg next Friday, June 27 (3:00 a.m.).

Acute gastroenteritis and isolation
Mbappé was admitted due to an acute case of gastroenteritis. The forward had been suffering from fever and severe digestive symptoms for several days, which prevented him from leading a normal life. Since Monday the 16th, he had been completely isolated in the team hotel, with no contact with his teammates and on a very light diet: some fruit and Aquarius.
The player's condition worsened and the club decided to admit him to keep him under control. After a favorable recovery, he has already been able to return, although he is not yet at 100%.
He missed the Club World Cup debut
The Frenchman was unable to play in Real Madrid's Club World Cup opener. Xabi Alonso's team faced Al Hilal at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium. The match ended in a draw (1-1) and Mbappé was not even on the bench.

On Tuesday, he also did not take part in the final training session before the match. He had trained normally on Sunday and Monday, but the worsening of his health forced him to stop his activity.
Xabi Alonso spoke about his condition
After the draw against the Saudi side, the coach was asked about Kylian's situation. "He has been quite unwell in recent days. It's a strong viral process and we'll see how he responds little by little," Xabi Alonso explained to the media.
The Frenchman's absence allowed Gonzalo García, one of the academy's brightest prospects, to make his debut. He scored a goal and was the most outstanding player of the match.
For now, Mbappé remains under observation. Real Madrid doesn't want to take any risks and will closely monitor his recovery. His return to the field will depend on how he progresses in the coming hours.
