Ancelotti Goes All Out, One Change to Finish Off Manchester City

Carlo Ancelotti has already announced the 11 players who will start tonight for the return leg against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Today at 9:00 p.m., Spanish time, Real Madrid plays the second leg of this Champions League tie against Manchester City. Carletto's team wants to make the 2-3 in Manchester count to advance to the next phase. Meanwhile, they also aim to leave Guardiola's team behind.

Now, Ancelotti has already made Real Madrid's starting eleven official.

Real Madrid's Starting Eleven for This Match

These are the eleven players who will start the match today: Courtois; Valverde, Asencio, Rüdiger, Mendy; Tchouaméni, Ceballos, Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinícius, and Mbappé.

As we can see, despite Rüdiger's return, Asencio remains as a starter in the center of defense, and Tchouaméni moves to the midfield, his natural position.

This means that Camavinga returns to the bench due to Tchouaméni's return to the midfield.

Ancelotti Said This Yesterday in the Pre-Match Press Conference

The team's coach commented this yesterday:

"It will be an entertaining, complicated, and difficult match. We've tried to prepare well, and we want to recover the players who can help us."

"We're going to try to play the same match we did a week ago. We'll take into account the difficulty of this type of match, a tie where everything is at stake in 90 minutes."

"I don't think Guardiola thinks he has a 1% chance of advancing. Tomorrow before the match, I'm going to ask him, but he thinks he has more, as is fair."

"We don't think we have 99%, but we have a small advantage. We must take advantage of it by trying to play the same match as in the first leg, where we did well."

"The last three matches have been demanding, and we've only achieved a good result, which was against City, but the team is playing well. That gives us confidence and a positive spirit."

"We have to keep playing well, with quality. Above all, what has stood out in the last matches has been the sacrifice and collective commitment we've been able to have."
