The only Real Madrid footballer in DAZN's Club World Cup starting eleven
The Club World Cup resulted in a new card for Real Madrid, and he is the only Madridist in the tournament's starting eleven
Real Madrid's performance in the Club World Cup, despite not winning it and leaving in a painful way, was quite positive. Nevertheless, the players' performance wasn't enough for any of them to make it into the tournament's ideal eleven. However, Gonzalo García did manage to do so, as he clearly secured the forward position in this line-up.
This only speaks to the excellent performance the player had, as he scored four goals and provided one assist in just six matches in the tournament. A footballer who showed his quality and, above all, his understanding of the game as a homegrown player with the opportunity to keep improving.
Now, there's a discussion about the possibility of having him as a key element in the first team or, otherwise, letting him leave to keep up his performance. What is clear is that he has knocked directly on the door of Spanish soccer, and we'll see what his future holds.

He ranks among the best
The Club World Cup, overall, has been a tournament that left a very good impression and will probably be even more so in the future. For this reason, the fact that a homegrown Real Madrid footballer stands out among the club's big stars is surprising.
The white team is clear that this footballer could have a very promising future if he's given the right minutes. Although Alonso seems convinced that this player could be his ideal substitute, it's still not certain.
However, sharing spots with players who reached the final, such as Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernández, Vitinha, or Achraf Hakimi, shows his excellent performance.
A whole world ahead
What is clear is that many clubs will be trying to secure this player's services so he can become their new offensive reference. Nevertheless, Gonzalo has to focus 100% on his development and, if that's with Real Madrid, then the decision must be strict.
