Ancelotti's reaction after the brutal tackle on Mbappé comes to light: 'It's a red card, h...'

The Real Madrid coach had a clear reaction after seeing the play

This past Saturday,  Real Madrid fell to Espanyol in one of the most controversial matches in recent memory. Not only because a goal by Vinícius was disallowed without considering the neck grab on Mbappé. Nor because of the handball penalty by an Espanyol player that wasn't called.

What irritates the Madrid fans the most is the brutal tackle on Mbappé by Carlos Romero. The Espanyol player admitted that he didn't go for the ball but instead launched himself to stop him. Despite this, neither the referee showed the red card nor was he corrected by the VAR.

Gradually, we've been learning about the reactions of the Madridists when they saw what had happened. Now Ancelotti's reaction has come to light, right at the moment of seeing the tackle on Mbappé. As soon as he saw it, Real Madrid's bench jumped up to protest to the fourth official.

It's Davide who says "it's a red card, damn it," but Carlo also gets angry and demands that they go to the VAR to check the action. "It's a clear red, go to the VAR, they've made a mistake," Carletto said. However, they didn't want to heed his demands in the face of a very dangerous play.

The RFEF still hasn't provided an explanation for this action

No one in world football understands how such a brutal tackle wasn't punished with a sending-off. The press from other countries clamored for an error that clearly ended up harming Real Madrid. Meanwhile, the offender ended up being the author of the victory for Espanyol.

But the white team formally protested, through a letter published on their website. They asked for explanations regarding the matter and to know what the communications between the referee and VAR had been. However, up to this moment, no one has lifted a finger to clarify it.

The indignation continues to grow and could get worse if another error occurs in upcoming matches. Especially because there was already anger over the biased VAR images against Valencia. The entire play wasn't shown to get Vinícius sent off.
