Out of Madrid: Ancelotti and the Club Have an Agreement and He Won't be in the Cup
This Real Madrid player is more out than in and won't even sit on the bench in the Copa del Rey
Real Madrid comes from an amazing comeback in Valencia after being down 1-0 with a goal by Hugo Duro. A goal by Luka Modric and another by Jude Bellingham set the final score at 1-2. A game marked by the unjust red card to Vinícius Júnior.
However, now it's time to think about the Copa del Rey and tomorrow, Monday, Real Madrid plays its first game of this competition. It will be against Deportiva Minera and Jesús Vallejo won't even be on Carlo Ancelotti's bench.
Jesús Vallejo is completely out of Real Madrid
The Spanish central defender returned this summer to Real Madrid after his loan to face his last year of contract with Real Madrid. The player was informed on the first day by the club that he wasn't in their plans. He was even offered a contract termination.
However, Vallejo didn't accept it and has wanted to stay on the team even knowing that he isn't in Carlo Ancelotti's plans. A situation that has clearly been evident when the team needed central defenders and he didn't play. It became even clearer when Ancelotti preferred to bet on Raúl Asencio from Real Madrid Castilla over him.
In this morning's training session, we could see that Vallejo isn't training. It's likely due to some physical discomfort of the player and for this reason, he hasn't stepped onto the field.
Vallejo won't play in Copa del Rey
This shows us that, a day before playing the first Copa del Rey match, Jesús Vallejo isn't training. Therefore, he won't be on Real Madrid's bench tomorrow.
We'll see if the player can find a way out in this winter market that allows him to play. However, it's most likely that he will finish his contract with Real Madrid in the summer of 2025 and then become a free agent. From there, it will be seen what the future holds for the Spanish center-back of Real Madrid who hasn't had luck here.
