Owen doesn't hold back, praises Mbappé and criticizes Lamine Yamal: the best
Michael Owen has been very clear about Kylian Mbappé, which has put Lamine Yamal in a very bad position
The Ballon d'Or gala is very close to taking place and everything points to Ousmane Dembélé being the winner of that Parisian night.
However, this makes Lamine Yamal's fans fear the worst, since Barcelona's campaign hasn't worked.
This is something that has been confirmed by the words of Michael Owen, who appeared on Rio Ferdinand's podcast and elevated the figure of Kylian Mbappé.
"He's the best in the world. That's what I think. There are effective center forwards. We've talked about Kane, Lewandowski, and also Haaland and others. They're never going to let you down. They're always going to score a lot of goals. But in the important matches, in the most decisive ones, he can decide a match. If you're a center back, I don't think you'll lose sleep if you have to mark any of the ones I just mentioned. None of them are going to beat you in skill. None of them are going to get away from you," said the former English striker.

Mbappé is superior to the rest
These words, as expected, have gained traction, since right now there isn't any scorer at the Parisian's level.
"But Mbappé does. He has that. He has the ability to embarrass you. If he takes you off the field or can do a bit of skill, his touch is brilliant. He has pure speed, he can finish, he can take over the match. Someone who can take over the match has to be the best," said the Brit, who with his words has exposed Lamine Yamal.
An easy adaptation
Additionally, Michael Owen spoke about Kylian Mbappé's quick adaptation to Real Madrid, something that didn't surprise him and that he clearly says with knowledge, since it's a process he had to go through and in which his results on the field proved that it wasn't difficult at all.
"I wasn't surprised (by the 40 goals last season). He's very good. He's scored hat tricks in the World Cup, so it doesn't surprise me. I think he's brilliant. At Madrid it's not that difficult to adapt, a team that has the ball 80% of the time (80%), except in one or two matches during the season. They literally feed you the ball all the time. You're playing with great players in a great stadium. Everyone expects you to win. It's virtually impossible not to score. It's hard not to score when you're playing at Real Madrid," said the former Madrid striker.
