Paco González Believes Madrid Will Lose the Copa Final and La Liga: 'It's Impossible'

The Journalist Makes a Bleak Prediction for the Remaining Titles for Real Madrid

After Real Madrid's victory over Getafe in the league, all eyes are on the Copa del Rey final.  This Saturday they will face Barça at La Cartuja in a Clásico that could be decisive. Not only for this title but also considering the league where everything is still tight.

Regarding the possibilities that Los Blancos have in both competitions, Paco González has spoken. He hasn't given any chance for Real Madrid to win either of the two titles. He did so by analyzing the match they won against Getafe this past Wednesday.

"It's because Barça is on top," he began by saying about the pressure the blaugranas exert.  "Who brings the ball out in Real Madrid, Modric, by himself?" the journalist continued to ask. Before concluding: "That's the difference, it seems impossible to me that Madrid will win any title with the calamity of a team it is."

These words left everyone very surprised, so Juanma Castaño asked him about them. Paco González insisted that "as a team quality, it's impossible to think that Madrid will win." Therefore, he gives Ancelotti's team no chance of winning any title.

A Madrid with Rotations Thinking About the Copa del Rey Final

It is true that Real Madrid narrowly defeated Getafe thanks to a great goal by Arda Güler. But Ancelotti presented a line-up at the Coliseum full of rotations thinking about the Copa del Rey final. Something that was noticeable since less frequent players like the Turk, Endrick, or Brahim played.

He preferred to reserve starters who will be on the field from the start this Saturday, like Rüdiger or Bellingham. Additionally, Mbappé was still recovering from his injury and wasn't included in the squad. But it seems that for Paco González, that wasn't so decisive.

We already know that a final is different from everything else and anything can happen, especially if it's a Clásico. Although everyone is considering the blaugranas as the big favorites, it's not the first time this has happened. In the previous two occasions, the same thing happened, and it was Real Madrid who ended up lifting the Copa.
