Pedri Points to Tebas While Culers Call Real Madrid 'Crybaby': 'Harms'
The FC Barcelona midfielder launches a protest over the date of the postponed match against Osasuna
One of the major discussions in Spanish soccer during the international break is centered around FC Barcelona. The blaugrana team requested the postponement of their match against Osasuna, scheduled for Saturday, March 8, due to the tragic passing of Dr. Carles Miñarro. LaLiga accepted this postponement and took on the task of finding a date for both clubs to play the match.
The resolution of the Sole Competition Judge arrived almost two weeks later, indicating that the best day for both teams to meet again is March 27. This date has sparked all kinds of comments against the Judge's choice from both clubs.

The indignation of FC Barcelona is expressed through Pedri. The '8' culé spoke about this matter on RAC1: "the truth is it's a bit strange, I didn't know they were going to schedule that match on that day" indicated by the Sole Judge. "I don't really understand it because, well, Madrid already complained about not playing with 72 hours of rest", Pedri notes, relying on Carlo Ancelotti's fair claims.
"It's true that we don't have many dates to schedule it, but well, not having those two players I think it harms us a bit, and let's see what happens", Pedri concludes. The FC Barcelona footballer complains because on March 27, neither Raphinha nor Ronald Araújo, fulfilling their duties with their respective national teams, would be available for Hansi Flick in that match.
Shocking Situation
These complaints from the Canarian midfielder come amid several attacks on Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti's words after the Villarreal-Real Madrid match have led many commentators to label the white club as "crybabies" for seeking FIFA's protection... while Pedri himself, an FC Barcelona player, relies on that same regulation for their postponed match.
Likewise, the absences of the blaugrana team would take a back seat in light of the extreme situation Osasuna would face if they must comply with their competitive schedule. Vicente Moreno's players would face FC Barcelona on March 27 and, without rest, would play against Athletic Club de Bilbao on March 28.

Those two consecutive matches, with barely 24 hours of separation, haven't sparked many comments against. The decision of the Sole Competition Judge regarding this important LaLiga match is under scrutiny not only because of the protests from an FC Barcelona... that would experience a situation not unfamiliar to any club in the European soccer elite.
Pedri's complaints, arguing that the decision "harms us a bit", align with the same claims made by Real Madrid after their match in Villarreal. Only the white entity has been labeled as "crybabies" for wanting to enforce the rule and preferring that their footballers be properly recovered and rested after so much effort.
