There is still time to know which teams will reach the final of the Champions League on May 31 in Munich. However, the well-known supercomputer from Opta has already revealed its forecast even though the quarterfinals haven't started yet.

According to the mentioned source, up to four teams have higher chances than Real Madrid to reach Munich. For the predictive machine of The Analyst, FC Barcelona is the big favorite. The blaugranas have an 80% chance of reaching the semifinals, a 41.5% chance of playing the final, and a 20.4% chance of lifting the trophy.

Another team that has also gained options in recent days is Paris Saint-Germain after eliminating Liverpool. The French team has gone from being on the brink in the group stage of the Champions to becoming the second big favorite according to Opta. Luis Enrique's team has a 36% chance of reaching the final and a 19.3% chance of winning the Champions League.

What About Real Madrid?

It is quite surprising that Arsenal and Inter have higher chances than Real Madrid, both to reach Munich and to win the trophy. The English team also has a 52.8% chance of reaching the semifinals, while Real Madrid only has a 47.2% chance. That is, the Artificial Intelligence leaves the current champion out of the tournament in the quarterfinals.

Real Madrid is in fifth position in Opta's particular ranking. They only have a 26% chance of reaching the final in Munich and a 13.6% chance of winning the Champions. These figures are almost half of what Barcelona has, according to the predictive machine of The Analyst.
