Player who Transfered for Real Madrid and Now Calls Himself a Barcelona Fan
Former Madrid player admits he's now a die-hard Barça fan and, if it were up to him, his career would have been with them
Transfering for the best club in history, for many players, is simply one of the most unbelievable and well-made decisions of their lives. However, there are very exceptional cases where the player who went through Real Madrid would have wished to be in a very different club. However, going through Barcelona for having more affection for this team is somewhat strange.
However, it seems to be the case of a player who joined the Meringue team, and we are referring to Antonio Cassano. After several years of his retirement, he confesses that before transfer for Real Madrid he would have signed for Barcelona, a team he loved. These statements have been quite criticized by Madrid fans, not because of their importance, but because of their bad taste.
While it's true that this player doesn't represent something relatively important in history, it remains quite annoying. Some might even consider him opportunistic after what happened in the Supercopa final.
Cassano takes off the mask
The former Real Madrid player has been quite clear with his stance and has set aside the Meringue team for Barcelona. This came out during a talk after the embarrassing result of the Supercopa final for Real Madrid.
He even dared to say that the match result could have been different without the expulsion of the culé goalkeeper. Specifically, he says the match could have ended 10 to 1 against the whites.
Of course, this, despite not being so relevant, hasn't gone unnoticed by a large part of Madrid fans, who have marked him. A former footballer who, besides not making it into Real Madrid's history, now also has to talk about such sad things.
Madrid doing its thing
Regardless of everything, the white team has to get to work to prevent this from happening to them once again in the season. Moreover, these words, even if not so relevant, have to serve as inspiration for the players.
