Possible Real Madrid line-up against RCD Mallorca for tonight
Carlo Ancelotti's pupils need the three points if they want to stay in the fight for the LaLiga leadership
Winning the current league campaign is the last major goal remaining for Real Madrid in the 24/25 season. Apart from the Club World Cup, a competition "separate" from this soccer season, Santiago Bernabéu locker room faces a feat that seems practically impossible to make a reality. They will not give up without trying.
The major obstacle to achieving victory against Real Mallorca is the injury absences. The last-minute ailment of Andriy Lunin adds to a concerning list of footballers out of the team, including Vinícius, Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy, Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Rüdiger, Camavinga, and Lucas Vázquez.

Those players in the Valdebebas infirmary are not the only absentees for the clash against Real Mallorca, considering that Aurélien Tchouaméni is serving a yellow card suspension today. Footballers like Dani Ceballos, Fede Valverde, and Jude Bellingham have seen four cards to date, so they arrive at risk of suspension... and would be left out of the group for the clash against Sevilla if they see another yellow card.
Taking into account the situation in which Real Madrid arrives, Carlo Ancelotti would field this line-up: Courtois; Valverde, Jacobo Ramón, Asencio, Fran García; Arda Güler, Modrić, Ceballos, Bellingham; Brahim, Mbappé.
Possible starting line-ups for both teams
Meanwhile, Jagoba Arrasate would plan to introduce some changes in his formation for the visit to Real Madrid. The Basque coach understands that the next match against Getafe will be key for European aspirations, so he would take the opportunity to rest some of his key players. That being the case, he will not be able to count on Robert Navarro and Manu Morlanes, both injured, while Darder, Mascarell, Abdón Prats, Valjent, and Cyle Larin arrive at the match at risk of suspension.
Nonetheless, Jagoba Arrasate would propose the following starting line-up to try to beat Real Madrid today: Leo Román; Morey, Valjent, Raíllo, Copete, Mojica; Mascarell, Samu Costa, Antonio Sánchez; Larin, Muriqi.

The match between Real Madrid and Real Mallorca will be played at Santiago Bernabéu. Both will meet today, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 9:30 PM in a clash refereed by Javier Alberola Rojas and Jorge Figueroa Vázquez.
This match can be watched through the channels M+ LaLiga TV (M54-O110), M+ LaLiga TV 2 (M57 O112), Orange Fútbol 1 (108), and LaLiga TV Bar, from Movistar Plus. The match can also be followed live in detail through the Defensa Central website.
