Possible line-up for Real Madrid tonight against Mallorca
Madrid host Mallorca in La Liga, seeking another three points to stay at the top before the 'break'
Real Madrid will play another league match tonight (9:30 p.m.)—the third matchday already—and will host Mallorca at Santiago Bernabéu stadium with the goal of securing another three points that will allow it to remain at the top of the standings. So far, Xabi Alonso's side has two wins to its name, while the Bermellones have yet to achieve a victory in this domestic campaign and, at the white temple, haven't done so since 2009.
From Chamartín, they want to keep the good run they've managed to have at the start of the season, with a splendid Kylian Mbappé—the Frenchman has scored three goals in two matches—and Xabi Alonso wants to finish well before the first international break, which will take place over the next two weeks, so the league won't return until September 13/14. However, many Madrid footballers will have to fulfill commitments with their national teams.

"We want to finish with good feelings before the break. Against Oviedo, we took a step forward and against Mallorca we want to take another," said the Basque coach at a press conference this Friday after the last training session with the group before Saturday's match. Xabi confirmed that Rodrygo Goes and Dani Ceballos will remain at Madrid, although he also warned that the transfer window hasn't closed yet for the Whites.
"It's likely that the squad is set, but I don't want to get ahead of myself before the window closes. We're always alert, but let's wait. It looks that way," said Alonso, who was equally skeptical when asked about the approach Madrid will take against Mallorca. "If I tell you what I'm going to do, it wouldn't be very smart on my part. We'll see what happens tomorrow," he said before highlighting all his footballers and pointing out that the Champions League draw has given them a "demanding group."
Vinicius returns
The truth is that Madrid won't have many changes in its starting eleven, although it's most likely that Vinicius Junior will return. The number 7 was a substitute in Oviedo (0-3), with Rodrygo Goes "stealing" his spot, but he ended up playing almost half an hour and assisted Mbappé for the second goal and, in stoppage time, the winger himself scored to round off the result for the Madridists at Carlos Tartiere. Franco Mastantuono is expected to start on the right.

Aurélien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde, and Arda Güler will be in charge of Madrid's engine room, while in defense Xabi could once again trust the back four that played six days ago in Asturias: Dani Carvajal would return to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, Álvaro Carreras would be the left back, and Antonio Rüdiger and Dean Huijsen would be at the heart of the defense.
Possible Real Madrid line-up
Courtois; Carvajal, Rüdiger, Huijsen, Carreras; Tchouameni, Valverde, Arda Güler; Mastantuono, Vinicius, and Mbappé.
Possible Mallorca line-up
Leo Román; Morey, Valjent, Raíllo, Kumbulla, Toni Lato; Darder, Morlanes; Pablo Torre; Muriqi, and Mateo Joseph.
