Possible Real Madrid Lineup Tonight Against Real Sociedad

Madrid faces Real Sociedad with the goal of reaching the Copa final, which takes place on April 26

Real Madrid is one step away from reaching a Copa del Rey final two years later and, with this goal, they must secure the semifinal tie against Real Sociedad, who visit Santiago Bernabéu tonight starting at 9:30 p.m.

It should be remembered that Madrid has an advantage over the Basques, as they won on February 26 at Anoeta thanks to a solitary goal scored by Endrick Felipe. If they reach the grand final, the merengue team will have to travel to Seville to face either Atlético or Barcelona at La Cartuja.

Madrid faces a match against Real Sociedad in which they have up to five absences (Dani Carvajal, Éder Militao, Dani Ceballos, Ferland Mendy, and Thibaut Courtois) and where Carlo Ancelotti plans some changes, although without major rotations, as happened last Saturday against Leganés.

This duel against the 'txuri-urdin' will also be the second of three consecutive matches that Ancelotti's team must play in Chamartín -Valencia visits the temple on Saturday (4:15 p.m.)- and in which Andriy Lunin will again be the starter in a defense composed of Lucas Vázquez and Eduardo Camavinga, on the right and left flanks, respectively.

With a central defense formed by Raúl Asencio and David Alaba, Ancelotti doesn't want any slip-ups and in the midfield and forward positions there will be no surprises: Aurélien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde, and Jude Bellingham will play, as well as Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior, and Kylian Mbappé.

"We are well, the squad is lively, motivated, and in shape. We've recovered the South Americans after the international break. We have the excitement of playing another final. In recent years, the Cup has been good for us and we want to repeat," Ancelotti pointed out in the pre-match press conference this Monday from Valdebebas.

Madrid could reach their first final in this 2025 which, if all goes well, would end the season on July 13 with another final, but of the Club World Cup and in the United States.
