Premier takes him, €30M for Real Madrid and goodbye for good
Real Madrid could receive a fortune for a footballer who is not part of the squad
Takefusa Kubo has attracted the attention of two major Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool have already initiated preliminary contacts to study the feasibility of signing him from Real Sociedad. Both teams have held initial talks with the new representatives of the Japanese footballer, although there isn't a formal offer on the table yet.
Although his numbers this season haven't been particularly outstanding, Kubo is still highly valued for his influence on collective play. Despite having a contract valid until 2029, his continuity is in doubt after the recent internal changes at Real Sociedad, including the departure of the coach and the sporting director.

Premier League knocks on Take Kubo's door
The €60 million ($65.5 million) release clause not only sets the exit cost for Take Kubo, but also adds complexity to any signing attempt. Real Madrid, which still keeps certain rights over the player, could play a key role in his future. In fact, the white club, whether through a possible buyback, would receive 50% of a future sale.
Arsenal and Liverpool are analyzing their offensive options cautiously. In the case of the London side, with Bukayo Saka fully established on the right flank, the priorities seem to focus more on strengthening the left. At Anfield, although Kubo's name has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, he isn't among the immediate targets.
Although the Japanese striker remains an attractive profile in the market, the high price raises some doubts for Arsenal and Liverpool. The Premier League aren't losing track of him, but his immediate future hasn't been defined yet.
Real Madrid supports the sale of Take Kubo
As previously mentioned, Real Sociedad acquired 50% of Takefusa Kubo's rights, paying Real Madrid a sum close to €6 million ($6.6 million).

If a sale is finally completed for the €60 million ($65.5 million) set in his clause, the Madrid club would receive 50% of the profit obtained by Real. This could represent a significant income without the need to intervene directly in the operation.
