River's president makes his stance official with Mastantuono, signing heats up

The decision regarding Franco Mastantuono's future has been revealed by River Plate's President

In recent years, one of the biggest promises in soccer is the Argentine Franco Mastantuono.  The River Plate player has impressed several European clubs with his natural talent and his projection in the midfield. Standing out as a more complete midfielder as the matches go by, his future remains uncertain.

While Real Madrid is the club most interested in securing his signing, the president of River Plate has spoken about this. "The important thing is to keep calm...Understand that neither he is in a hurry, nor is River in a hurry," were the words of Jorge Brito.  Through this, the president of River Plate has revealed his stance on Mastantuono.

"The best thing to do when something is in full growth is to let it keep growing and not touch anything," he added to reinforce his stance.  Aware of Mastantuono's enormous talent, the president of River Plate will do everything possible to delay his departure.

River Plate's stance

For several seasons, South American soccer has produced several future stars of the sport. With some standing out more than others, Franco Mastantuono is one of the most talented and promising prospects. At only 17 years old, Mastantuono has been delivering performances with River Plate worthy of an experienced player.

Playing 1,152 minutes this season, Mastantuono's progress has confirmed him as a future star. Due to this, and given the need to strengthen their midfield, Real Madrid has shown strong interest in acquiring his services.

However, Jorge Brito's stance has been very clear, with Mastantuono's potential signing pointing to a complicated operation.  Although problems have never stopped Real Madrid, the club knows that negotiations for Mastantuono will be lengthy.

What Mastantuono needs

Showing his worth and talent with River Plate, Franco Mastantuono now needs to make the leap to a more competitive club. While Mastantuono has the interest of several clubs, none can offer him everything he could achieve with Real Madrid.
