Ramón de Mon Announces: Real Madrid Can Win LaLiga in the Offices
Osasuna has challenged the ruling on the improper alignment complaint regarding Íñigo Martínez, and Barça could lose the points
A shocking piece of news has shaken the end of the season. Journalist Ramón de Mon has explained that Real Madrid could win LaLiga off the field if a complaint filed by Osasuna against FC Barcelona is successful.
The red team challenges the match played on March 27, in which Barça fielded Iñigo Martínez, despite the fact that, according to Osasuna, he couldn't play due to FIFA regulations. The Competition Committee has already dismissed the claim, but Osasuna will appeal and is willing to go all the way.
Osasuna's Official Statement
This Thursday, Osasuna published an extensive statement. In it, they claim that the Committee has dismissed their appeal based on an alleged authorization from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). However, the club keeps that this authorization doesn't exist.
According to Article 5 of Annex 1 of the FIFA Regulations, a player drafted by their national team can't play with their club for five days after being released, unless expressly authorized. Osasuna insists that Iñigo's absence was medical, not an "agreement" with the Federation.
Additionally, they criticize the Committee for interpreting this agreement as "implicit." "What exists is a medical communication, not an explicit permission," the club states. They also point out that the player's recovery was suspiciously quick, with medical reports sent at dawn and without recorded medical tests.
Possible Consequences in LaLiga
If Barcelona ends up winning the League by just three points, this complaint could change everything. Ramón de Mon warned that the case could end up in the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD), or even in the Ordinary Justice.
Meanwhile, Barça faces a possible loss of points, and Real Madrid waits alertly. If Osasuna wins the appeal, the title could change hands in the offices, something unprecedented but legally possible.

To close their statement, Osasuna lamented a comment from Barça calling their appeal "improper." The Navarrese club replied harshly, accusing the blue and red club of cynicism.
LaLiga 2024-25 could have a judicial champion, and the controversy, far from subsiding, continues to grow.
