Ramón de Mon explodes over Mbappé's disallowed goal: 'It's intolerable'
Many Madridists still can't explain VAR's decision to disallow Mbappé's goal
Real Madrid achieved a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Mallorca at Santiago Bernabéu thanks to goals from Güler and Vinícius. However, the match, officiated by referee José María Sánchez Martínez, was surrounded by much controversy. The referee ended up disallowing three goals for the white team, two of them to Kylian Mbappé for offside and one to Güler for an alleged handball.
The match began with a goal disallowed for Mbappé in the 7th minute. A long pass from Alexander-Arnold left the Frenchman alone in front of goalkeeper Leo Román, whom he beat with a precise shot to the near post. The celebration faded when VAR, after a review, indicated a marginal offside.

The broadcast took a while to publish the image of an offside that will go down in history as the most marginal. In fact, hours later, Kylian Mbappé shared the VAR screenshot on Instagram, showing his disagreement with the decision without adding comments, letting the image speak for itself.
Real Madrid could overcome Sánchez Martínez and VAR
Minutes later, Mallorca took the lead with a goal from Vedat Muriqi, but Real Madrid came back in a magical minute. Arda Güler equalized in the 37th minute with a header after a corner, and Vinícius made it 2-1 in the 38th minute with a left-footed shot across goal. However, the controversy continued.
Right before halftime, Kylian Mbappé scored another goal, assisted by Güler, but it was again disallowed for offside. In the second half, a goal from Güler was invalidated for a handball detected by VAR, generating protests at Bernabéu. In fact, the name of Negreira was heard again in the stands of the white coliseum.
After the match, Xabi Alonso, as captured by the cameras of "Defensa Central", went to speak with the referee. Later, in the press conference, the Madrid coach did not want to make any comments about the referee.
Ramón Álvarez de Mon's outrage
"Mbappé freaks out on IG", posted Ramón de Mon on his 'X' profile. In addition, the well-known Madrid communicator also posted another message in which he criticized the operation of the semi-automatic offside.
However, Ramón de Mon, to avoid controversy, ended up deleting that message from his 'X' profile.
